Minnie Mouse Cake

I did a Minnie Mouse Cake for my friends 2 year old niece. Let just say this one didn't come out like I wanted it too.
I'm still learning what works and doesn't work so it's a learning experience.
This is how the cake looked but the fondant on the bottom started to cave in. The fondant was very soft so I won't use that brand (I won't name the brand). The brand I prefer is Wilton's. They (to me) have the best stuff. I will try other brands to give them a chance though.

Here what it came out looking like in the end. I did realize that I needed to add dowels or pearl tea straws(saw this idea on YouTube) into each layer so the cake doesn't cave in. I could of also added  round board under each cake to make it even more stable.
The poor bottom of the cake caved in so I had to remove it so it was only 3 tiers.
I got a text a few hours later saying the cake tipped over. Dang!!! I wanted to cry. This is my friends sister. It was her daughter's birthday.

Warriors Theme cupcakes and cake

I was asked to do a Warriors theme and it came out so cute.

These are the cupcakes with the Warriors jersey. The yellow was imprinted with a basketball. Yes a new basketball not a old dirty one. The jersey I had to hand draw and make a card stock cut out since I couldn't find a cookie cutter that size.

Here's what the basketball print looks like close up.
This was the first one I did and the 5 looked like a S. Not cute. I ended up buying a mold for numbers and letters to add to my collection.
Lots of cutting and applying it to the back with a little water. I ended up making 45 of these.

Here's the cake. I took a picture of it through the cake box so it looks a little glossy.
Happy with how this came out.

These came out do moist and yummy. Only thing is the fall apart every easy. I was told by one of the Dieticans at my job to add a spoon full of flaxseed powered and it should hold the cupcake better since eggs where not used on this.
Nom Nom Nom......

Here what they look like after coming from the oven.
If you want the recipe I can add it. Just let me know.

THESE ARE THE FACE.  I USED A EGG SHAPE COOKIE CUTTER

I PLACED THE FONDANT I SEPARATED IN A BAG AND CLOSED SO IT WOULDN'T DRY OUT

I SEE A FOOT.....HERE'S WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE ONCE I PLACED THE FACE ON THE BACKGROUND

OUT OF ORDER BUT I ADDED GREEN FOOD COLOR AND KNEED THE FONDANT TILL IT WAS ALL MIXED WELL
